How it works
Upload one image, choose a pixelation mode and level, then generate the result. You can copy or download the output image.
Pixelation modes
- Mosaic: Each cell is filled with the average color of the pixels it covers, creating a soft, blended pixelation effect that resembles a mosaic. This mode is ideal for a more artistic or less harsh look.
- Block: Each cell is filled with the color of a single representative pixel (usually the top-left or center), resulting in a classic, sharp-edged pixel art or censorship effect. This mode produces a more pronounced, blocky appearance.
Output format behavior
The tool keeps your source format whenever possible. If the browser cannot export that format, it automatically falls back to PNG for transparent images, or high-quality JPG for opaque images.
Privacy
All image processing happens locally in your browser. No files are uploaded to any server.
